Sick leave and reopened with limited inventory
First of all, thank you so much for all the wonderful emails and messages regarding my recovery. It has helped so much.
On Nov 12th I started spiking fevers up to 103, nauseous, fatigued and horrible muscle pain all over. I took a COVID test, negative, and just thought it was a bad flu. The day before Thanksgiving I was hospitalized for "fevers of unknown origin" and they started running a slew of tests to find out what is wrong with me. Long story short, I have nothing viral or bacterial, no cancers, no "outdoor" diseases (I'm an avid hiker) and appear to be in good health. They still don't know exactly what caused my white blood cell count to spike and my red blood cell count to decrease. A round of antibiotics cured the fevers, now I'm just struggling with no appetite, muscle pain and fatigue. Quite frankly, it's been a terrifying journey. They are still treating me on an outpatient basis and in the meantime, I feel strong enough to start shipping orders on a limited basis.
I've hated to be away from my little business and please bear with me as I rebuild my strength.
Thanks,
Sue
